This is the first mention that this might occur with QT 7 in 10.3.9. I’ll stick with QT 6 then!!

I wonder if this means that the fix might come with QT update rather than an OS update?

Nice job summarizing the issue. I appreciate the new iPhoto 5 editing features (I actually like them better than opening the individual images in Photoshop for most simple fixes). Hopefully Apple fixes the problem sooner rather than later because at this point, the color-shift bug makes iPhoto’s editing features unusable.
