iTransmogrify server issues

Google Code is returning Server errors when trying to load any of the iTransmogrify! source files or project pages. This has effectively taken the whole thing offline.

I have a solution which I will try to implement in the next hour, but it will be somewhat difficult and clumsy without access to the SVN repository.

Sorry about this, we’ll be back shortly.

Update: All working and back to normal.

  • Hi Joe,

I’m in Australia and I’ve just bought an iPhone pre-release so I’m new to this.
    It’s jailbroken and running 1.1.4.
I’ve bookmarked iTransmogrify via Google and iTransmogrify 2.0 via “ispazio”
and neither of them work.Is it something I’ve done or is it because of whats outlined in your post above?

Also thanks for your webcam. I lived on E14th between 1st & 2nd for 12 months
about 10 years ago (brings back memories) so thanks again.

    All the best

    Jon

  • @Jon You might have been trying during today’s Google outage. When the Google Code site was unavailable, iTransmogrify couldn’t load the necessary files to do anything.

Once you’ve got the bookmark in place, try it on some pages from the test suite. Those pages are used for testing and are known to work.

In the past some people had problems with iSpazio where it would delete their bookmarks. I have no relationship with them and have no idea what they’re doing.

  • Joe, I’ve two un-related question to this topic, but have no other way to contact you.

    1. You posted elsewhere a while back about problem with WRT54G getting a DHCP lease (IP=0.0.0.0). I just bought a used unit that have identical version as yours (v8, and just updated firmware v8.05) and have the same DHCP lese problem What did you do to get working?

    2. I have two Macs (iBook 12″ 900 MHz and Powerbook G4. Both have the older aiport card (PC card style), and the latest Tiger OS-X. None of them can connect to wireless router (Airlink525W) even though I put in the correct WPA-PSK (TKIP) password. Do you know what could be wrong? My other laptop (Win XP worked just fine). Thanks.

  • Joe, for some reason when I try to access your website on my iPod Touch via wireless I recieve a message that says “Safari can’t open the page because it can’t find the server.” It seems like it’s only your site that gives me this. I’ve been trying to get to the whole itransmogrify thing to work but like I said I can’t even access your website with it. Any ideas? Thanks.
    Jake
