		<description>Hi there, and thanks for the tip. I suspected that the mbox files weren&#039;t doing anything, since their &#039;Date modified&#039; was nearly a year ago. 

I would also like to point out that in each subfolder there were other files with similar modification dates, called:

contents_index
table_of_contents
Incoming_Mail
Incoming_Table_of_Contents

I tested deleting these as well, and Mail is still working perfectly 24 hours later. Were these also left-overs of the upgrade to 10.4?</description>
