Film & Video
“If the air outside is as cold as the air in my freezer, then an ice cream
cone should last all day.”
The July 11th Los Angeles screening of All Day Ice Cream at the New York International Independent Film and Video Festival went really well. Despite some initial technical problems with the projector (which I was fearing after seeing several other screenings) it looked and sounded great. Seeing my little movie projected 40 feet wide in a real movie theater was really cool. Lots of family and friends turned out and everyone seemed to enjoy themselves.
Past screenings include ReelNY
on PBS Thirteen in New York City and Cinema 16 at the New Orleans
Film and Video Festival.

The documentation of my attempts to capture the sound of an eye blinking. Eyelids
closing do make enough noise to record with good microphones and a quiet room,
but the process itself turned out to be more interesting than the resulting
sound.

I wondered what would happen if I overfilled my espresso machine. Not as violent
as you might be expecting, but still worth the download. This one still makes
me laugh.

Every couple months, my desk would get so covered in junk that I could no
longer use it. Trying to figure out why this kept happening I decided to document everything that had
accumulated. It's amazing what I found.
